Hi,
I just downloaded the 30-day free trial version of MagicISO:
http://www.magiciso.com/
I opened the installer with Wine, and it appears to have installed the program successfully on the Wine virtual drive C:. I had hell trying to launch the program, however, because the .lnk file that was dumped on my desktop didn't work and the MagicISO Wine sub-menu contained ONLY the Uninstall program, and no link to the program itself.
I right-clicked on the uninstall menu option and sent a copy of the link to the desktop. I then modified that to run the actual program, and so I was able to do what I wanted to do, which was convert a .uif image I'd downloaded into an ISO.
But now I'm left with a desktop icon I don't want to leave there, and still no Wine menu item for the actual executable.
So how do I add a proper launcher for this program to the Wine menu?
I'm using a pretty basic Etch/Gnome install with a few backports.
Thanks!
Mike D.
