World of Goo is a physics based puzzle / construction game. I first played this on the Nintendo Wii and have since learned about it being released on other platforms. This game offers challenging puzzles mixed with a great art style and music that fits the visuals very well.
You can get World of Goo here (http://2dboy.com/2009/02/12/world-of-goo-linux-version-is-ready/). It is not free, but there is a demo version available. Here's an interview with the developers (http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2008/10/13/tastes-so-goo-d-2d-boy-interview/).
For anyone who enjoys puzzle games, I would definitely recommend at least giving the demo a try.
