Possible move to a new server.

I have had a couple of cPanel issues in recent months. I really don't care for cPanel and have even less use for it but it came with this server.

I have been experimenting with a linode.com vps server for a couple of months. It has been very successful. Linode has an exceptional admin control panel and other ammenities.

If everything goes well, I expect to move linuxagora sometime during spring break. Hopefully everything will work easily and there will only be a few minutes down time.

The move to the linode.com server is now complete.

This server has more resources than the old server. I am running Fedora due to the fact that I needed newer versions of Apache, php, and Mysql than CentOS 5 offered. In addition, it is not burdened by cPanel. All admin takes place at the command line. It should be faster though I never noticed any performance problems on the old server.

The old server crashed one time due to lack of swap space. This one should not have that problem.
