Security teams have found a botnet of Linux web-servers. People broke into a few hundred Linux web-servers and installed Nginx web-server on port 8080 to serve malicious code to Windows machines.

This makes 2009 the year of the Linux Botnet. But like all Linux code, it is hard to install and not for the faint of heart. And as usual, BSD is still lagging behind in this right-of-passage to the mainstream. :P
