Slow scroll in Firefox (fixed)

I'm working off a new install of CentOS 5.3. It is a pretty good box with 4 gigs of ram.

For some reason, Firefox scrolls very slowly. I have seen this before but I can't seem to fix the problem. The screen lags behind the scroll wheel. It is so annoying!

Any suggestions?

I found the answer.

Under - Edit - Preferences - Advanced

Uncheck the check box for "Smooth Scrolling"
(Actually, it isn't very smooth.)
