The download is the old 2008 version, not 2010 which they just released. But since I never heard of it before I guess I'll give it a try.

I found this review of it, and now I am a bit more intrigued to give it a try.

I have bought multiple versions of SoftMaker Office, and for Linux and BSD it is practically the best choice. For me, compatibility with Microsoft Office was better than OO.org, and it also has some nice DTP-like features. It also used to run very well on NetBSD and FreeBSD (although I haven't tried as of recently).

If the 2008 version also makes you eligible for the 2010 version at upgrade pricing, make sure that you get it! ;)

Ps.: search this forum for more reviews/information about Softmaker ;).
