I just saw this nice utility for apt-get for people with slow connections. Now you can make list of the packages needed to upgrade, then download them from another machine, even from Windows.

That is a very interesting bit of news. Thanks for sharing it, uteck. I am lucky to have a pretty fast connection at home, but for folks connected via dial-up, this could be a really useful tool.
