Has anyone tried the Mac App Store yet? I notice that it is much cheaper to buy iWork apps separately via the App Store than buy the total package via the Apple Store or a dealer. I wonder if buying iWork apps separately has any integration issues.
I just DLed the new update to OS X. I'll be checking out the new app store this weekend.

I tried it, and downloaded some free apps (Twitter, Alfred, SketchBook Express). The process was effortless, and I like it how you see and can install purchases on other Macs as well.
Though, I am waiting until more applications become available. I am tempted to buy Pixelmator, because it has a low price now ($25) and apparently gives a free update to 2.0.

Also not the price of Aperture, a professional photo management and editing app (79.95 rather than 199).

No, that should be exactly the same. It uses normal system frameworks for integration.
PS. A Happy New Year to everyone!

Thanks for app tip Daniel. I also wish everyone all the best for 2011 (especially the Libranet survivors).
I tried it last night. The process is just as easy as it is for the iPhone, almost too easy. Easy enough that I can chip away at my checking account.
A belated happy new year to everyone!

Still works great. However, it's a bit surprising they make the XCode 4 purchase download an installer.
