What do you think is going to happen? Is anything going to change in Apple policies?
Ideally users shouldn't pay crazy prices for some Apple products, especially for upgrades, and Apple should stop suing the entire world, that gives them a bad image.

For now, nothing will change. It's the same executive team, the same designers, the same company. They have lost the visionary, but they probably have enough new products in the pipeline for the next two years. So, there is plenty of time to adjust.
Or looking at it from a similar perspective. What happened when the other tech giant lost its visionary (Bill Gates) and replaced it by a boring manager. Not very much. Microsoft is still as big as ever, although I'd say there is a decline in popularity.
Long-term two things can happen: 1. they find a new visionary, 2. they become just another big tech company such as Microsoft or IBM.
At there very least, they'll probably continue to provide nice UNIX machines the years to come. And when that ends, there's always Linux ;).

I thought we (you and me among others) had enough of Linux for now :D
Honestly, I hope Apple doesn't go to the dogs. I am enjoying my recent MacBook Pro too much. True, with AppleCare and 8GB RAM it should have cost more than 3000 Euro, but I managed to have everything for about 1900 Euro :D

True ;). We are probably fine for the years to come. But nothing stays forever the same.

The world hasn't ended, and Apple even rolled out iTunes Match beta to US people in the iOS developer program.

And I am looking forward to seeing the iPhone 5 and the new Mac Pro, even if I don't believe I am going to buy either. I am going to upgrade my hackintosh instead, LOL.
