As we have found, a wealth of useful information can be lost when a fourm becomes unavailable. I just want everyone to know that a backup dump will be availble to responsible members of the community. Daniel is free to store a backup whenever he feels necessary. I will also keep a backup on a regular basis.

I intend to keep this forum free and open into the foreseeable future. If that ever changes, the message base will be available.

I'll try to make a backup every now and then. My e-mail to Tal bounced, so I'll resend the request for opening the forums for a short while to another address.

That's rather worrying. What was the bounce reason Daniel? 550? Obviously it seems Tal has simply decided to pack his bags and not even give us the decency of a 'good bye'. If this is the case, I'm vastly disappointed in Tal and his behaviour.

It is indeed very disappointing that there was no advance notice on the Libranet site, Tal's blog or on the Libranet forum about the forum not being available and whether it will re-open. I understand that people need to move on in life but those who have stuck with Libranet are certainly owed an announcement. As I have said before, Tal should at least give the forum and the Libranet site a respectable and decent end if it is all over.

Meanwhile, it is reassuring to find so many Libranet Alumni still around.
