I have been involved with computing since the late sixties, all the way back to punch card days. One thing that has always bothered me is the attitude shown some have regarding unimfored users and new programmers.
I intend to ensure that this site remain flame free and friendly to new users. Even if your question has been asked many times previously, I will endeavor to see that it is handled politely. I'm an old school teacher. There are no dumb questions.
Please note: This is not a political forum either for software or social systems. Flame wars of this nature will be removed.
Other than that, anything related to Debian, programming, and computers is open for discussion.
