For some reason they are not showing up.

The smilie management system is somewhat cumbersome. I have "uploaded" all of the smilies that were already in the image/smilie folder. I don't currently have the graphics files for the smilies that appear in the selection box. I'll locate them and get them uploaded as soon as I find suitable images.

This may be much ado about nothing. :smiley5:

If anyone would like a specific :) added just make a suggestion and I'll get it uploaded.

They show normally on my screen. But I have a very big screen.

I check the display setting option in the config this evening.

Looks fine to me...
However, the four image limit is annoying because if you quote someone the smilies in the quote counts against the limit. Maybe increase the number a bit?

The smilie quota limit is easy. The default is 4. How does 10 sound?

I set the setting to 10 but it will still only allow 4. I'll have to read the documentation when I get home this evening. I never should have said it would be easy. The machine heard me.

When all else fails, read the manual!

But the three on your top row are animated and the three on the bottom are static. Could that be the difference?

I just check through Firefox in Windows and they show okay...
Something in Firefox/Linux is messing them up.

Seems that there's always something strange with that combination: remember, foss, the greenish hue you saw in the logo whith Firefox/Linux?

If anyone has a suggestion on how to fix this...

10 is alot of smilies. i wouldnt think that static and animated smileys would make a difference. :smiley5::smiley15: :smiley14: :smiley11: :smiley10: :smiley11: :smiley5: :smiley8: :) :smiley15:

The smilees size is magically fixed! :)

I just found out that the smilees get messed up when I use "tor" (privoxy)...
