what is phpbb and how do i use it ?, for use with a website

phpbb2 is a LAMPS ie. -- Linux - Apache - Mysql PHP -- based interactive forum.

It just happens to be the forum software that we are using to exchange messages here.

You can read the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) located in the top menu or you can visit their site at:

http://www.phpbb.com

It is open source software so you can download it from their site and try it out on your own system.
