Drive icons

Using Debian testing & Gnome 2.14.3, there is a drive icon on the desktop for every partition on every disk. Is there any way of removing them. I don't like the clutter.

For KDE, just go to "Control Center > desktop > behavior > tab of icons and deselect the icons you don't want. In Gnome I couldn't say.

Thanks however KDE is not installed.

applications>system tools>cofiguration editor>apps>nautilus>desktop
