I just read about a new group called, "Leage of Technical Voters". http://leagueoftechvoters.org

Technically minded individuals should have more voice in the way politicians implement and use the technology that is provided by the technical community. Maybe this is a start????

The qualifications to join are unclear and the ability to join is currently by invitation only. Politicians only listen to either large blocks of voters or a small number of voters that have deep pockets.

I would like to see this work but they need to enlarge their base of support.

The problem is that the majority of our populace is not technological knowledgeable, and they don't want to be. Warren said something very interesting the other night, which surprised me - he feels the same way about people who don't know how to use a computer using one - they SHOULDN'T. If you've ever worked in support, and had to support lazy dumb asses they don't get off their asses to even think, you'll know what you mean. That is the VAST majority of the population. Therefore, such a group as this will NEVER work, it's far too small and elitist.

Furthermore, big business would never let such a group get their way. Big business wants things like they are now, only even more so. They don't care about you or me, or anything like it. They just are greedy and want to make more and more money.

The worlds most deadly virus isn't Ebola or HIV, it's capitalism.
