I ate too much and was miserable, but that is how you start out the Season successfully. I think? If it is, I did a good job. I enjoy this time of the year because I enjoy the fall weather that leads up to the Christmas and New Year Hoildays. There is so much traditional food to enjoy around this time. Home baked goods are wonderful. I have lost 16 pounds over the last few months. I hope I am not in danger of retrieving them.
Hope you are enjoying yourself.

Thanks, Jeff.
I managed to get through Thanksgiving dinner without making myself uncomfortably full. I still had more pie and other snacks than is good for me. I tend to pay for this by feeling lousy in other ways.
I hope that's the start of a good holidy season for me, DM. I think each of us can have a different standard, don't you? <grin>
Be well,
Mike D.

We have been measuring the p2p ratio for the past several years. The pie to person ratio for us was a bit lower than usual with 1.34 pies per person. We had variations of pumpkin, pumpkin-cheesecake, rhubarb, cherry, apple, lemon-meringue, pecan, mincemeat, coconut-custard, blueberry, cherry, etc & etc. With 16 relatives & 6 more friends at my sister-in-law's.
Nothing is better than apple pie for breakfast the day after.. . . or any day.
p2p - 1.34:1 - My kind of Thanksgiving. I assume that the post TG apple pie breakfast was ala mode?
