Thanks for the post Bob. I was a "pinball wizard" in college and one of the first console games after pong was sold by Sears called Breakout. It was a dedicated game with a rotary paddle knob, one button to fire the ball, and one or two to scroll through variations of hte breakout game. (Sometime in the early 70s)
