Most things that we store on CDs and DVDs are easily replaced with a download. Other files, particularly personal files may be important for years. Photographs can never be replaced.
I have been searching for archival quality media. Mitsui disks located at:
http://www.mam-a.com/products/gold/archive.html seem to fit the bill.
Do any of you have experience with archival quality media? What is a good source? I know price shouldn't matter but on a teacher's budget it does.
