Where is the file for configuring the mouse, keyboard, monitor etc. kept in LN3? And what is it called?

D'oh! I know I can be blind, but this is carrying it rather to extremes. Would you believe I looked hard and on there separate installations, bot from LN3 and from Knoppix?
