Samsung ML-2010 printer and Canon LiDE 20 and 30 scanner.

I think it's a great idea. So, to set the ball rolling:

I spent an hour yesterday trying to get a Samsung ML-2010 printer to play ball with CentOS 4.4 Live CD, using its own driver. Got nowhere. The answer was simple - and is not original: I found it on the net - Use the ML-4500 driver. Bingo!

Now the Canon LiDE 20 and 30 scanners, used with LN3. Plug them in. That's it. Plug them in. :-)

Here is a link to the fix I had to apply to get the ML-2010 working in Ubuntu Edgy. No such problem with Libranet3.
