I am running flexbackup on Debian testing.
Flexbackup is a script that uses afio and gzip to backup a system. I have noticed recently that the compressed archives are bigger the the uncompressed originals My home dir uncompressed is approx 890.8 meg compressed 1.6 GB , the diff backup is 249 meg compressed and uncompressed 0, the incremental backups compresses are vary between 460 meg and 480 meg although the uncompressed do not exceed 6 meg.
Is there that much over head with backup????
