You are free to upload avatars as long as they are G rated and 100 x 100 pixels or smaller.

I generally use Mozilla Firefox on my Linux machine and my avatar works fine. I just noticed that it does not show up while using MS IE. I'm going to investigate when I get home this evening.

If you upload an avatar, be sure to use .jpg rather than .jpeg

Internet Explorer will not recognize .jpeg I guess it is a remnant of DOS
