I got the same error message after rebooting following an install of the latest version on Citrix Client 10.6 on my Etch, CentOS, and Ubuntu Feisty partitions. I use the Citrix Client to connect my work server.

I unpacked the tar ball in /Tmp and run the install file as root. Previous versions I installed from /Home and had no problems.

The reboot took me to the GDM login screen but would go no further. However after rebooting as a single user I could complete a reboot after typing <startx> as root. I would appreciate any advice. The error message is below.
