Has anyone been successful running kino 0.92-3 in Debian 4.0?
When I first installed Deb 4 from CD-1 and the network, I installed kino and used it, but after some upgrades selected by the "Program Manager", it no longer works. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled countless times, but I can't get it configured properly; especially with regarts to 1394 firewire. There are also these errors which are displayed many times in several places when starting kino from a terminal:
(kino:9917): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_string_prepend: assertion `val != NULL' failed
(kino:9917): Gnome-CRITICAL **: gnome_program_get_app_id: assertion `program != NULL' failed
I just wondered if anyone has some ideas as to what I can do to remedy this problem.
