I have the new server based at http://colo4jax.com installed. It was a long and arduous 2 days. For some reason, I thought installing and configuring cpanel/whm would be a piece of cake. Setting the server and dns settings in conjunction with http://godaddy.com was an interesting process.
The install instructions were brief. I had to take pieces from various threads from the cpanel forum to figure everything out.
Fantastico is an extra cost 3rd party option. It has been included in every cpanel installation I have used. The cost isn't too high.
I sure don't see how hosting providers such as HostGator can do things so cheaply. It must be due to their volume. They advertise that they service over 1 million domains!
